What is Tempranillo?
It is a medium to full-bodied wine and most commonly has red fruit characteristics. Major regions that it is grown are Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Australia, and USA. The body and colour of the wine are comparable to Shiraz and Pinot Noir.
Taste Profile:
Tempranillo is full-bodied and has a bold flavour. Flavours of cherry, plum, and tomato can be found with other flavours of vanilla, tobacco, cedar, and dill also present. The tannins and acidity are medium. It has a similiar taste to that of Cabernet Sauvignon.
