What is Cabernet Sauvignon?
Cabernet Sauvignon is a red grape varietal known for its thick, durable skin.Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine that is full-bodied with a medium acidity level which makes it a great wine to pair with food. It is also identified by it's dark colour and has an alcohol content that exceeds 13.5%.
Cabernet Sauvignon is dry (not sweet) and has a healthy level of tannins, which is what causes your mouth to dry out when you sip it. Due to the high tannin levels, acidity and alcohol it is a great wine to pair with food. Common flavours found are bell pepper, green olive, herb, cassis, black cherry.
