Taste Profile:

Merlot has flavours of black cherry, plum, and raspberry followed by a smooth finish. Medium tannins and acidity are present. 

Cool Climate Merlot: More structured with higher tannins and earthy flavours such as tobacco are present. 

Warm Climate Merlot: Wine is more fruit-forward and tannin is less prevalent.
