What Is Vermouth?

Vermouth is wine spiked with brandy, sweetened, and herbs and spices are infused. Vermouth is a common ingredient in cocktails such as a Manhattan or Martini. It can also be drank on its own with an orange peel for garnish.

Vermouth can be made with a variety of different things, but some flavours you might come across are that of jasmine, orange, and lavender.
